Sipping and Delivery

All prints are lovingly created, hand-finished and carefully packaged in my Algarve studio.

Portugal

Orders within Portugal are shipped using CTT registered mail.

A4 prints are supplied flat in a protective sleeve with archival backing board.

A3 prints are carefully rolled in acid-free tissue and shipped in a sturdy postal tube.

International Orders

I am delighted to ship internationally.

As shipping costs vary depending on destination and print size, collectors outside Portugal are kindly asked to contact me before placing an order so that I can provide an accurate shipping quotation.

Packaging

Every print is carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully presented.

Limited Editions

Each artwork is part of a limited edition and is individually hand-enhanced by the artist using archival mixed media. Because of this, every print is unique.

Please note: Artwork is supplied unmounted and unframed unless otherwise stated

  • So you have ordered your print and it’s on its way.  Here are some top tips for unpacking, handling and framing your new print to ensure that it stays in pristine condition.

  • If you have ordered A4 I will have carefully protected the image between two pieces of acid free card, impact it in a padded envelope .

  • If you have ordered A3 size or A2 size I will have rolled the print in acid free tissue paper and it will have been shipped to you in a tube.

  • 1. Make sure that you give your hands a really good wash so that they are nice and clean when you handle your print.

  • 2. Carefully remove the print from the tube by gently pulling on the tissue paper.

  • 3. Slowly unroll your print.  Where possible, try to only touch the edges.  You may need two people for this bit.

           4. With the A3 and A2 size the print will want to curl back up but don’t worry.

  •    5. Have some tissue or a clean sheet of paper at the ready on a clean surface and place the print            image side down.

  •    6. Place some books on the back of the print and leave overnight.  Check your print in the morning and it should now be flat.  If not, leave it under the books for a bit longer.

  •     7. Time to pop it in a frame.  Make sure you get it framed behind glass so that it is protected.

8. If you are taking the print to a framers then don’t worry about steps 1 -  7.  They will do all of this for you :)

  • 9.Each print includes a 5 cm border and is individually hand-finished, making every piece unique.

I love allowing the hand-drawn details to flow into the border, as it gives the artwork a wonderful sense of energy and movement. This means the print can be framed without a mount if you prefer.

However, for the most striking presentation, I recommend adding a mount with a minimum width of 10 cm. The extra space allows the artwork to breathe, enhances its visual impact, and creates a beautiful gallery-quality finish.
